Black chocolate with Macadamicas

It is one of the gift I bought in Hawaii while the other one is macadamicas with different ingredients. On Sunday, I gave a coffee flavor macadamicas for Moctar who is a black and a box of black chocolate of macadamicas for the other friend simultaneously. I said why I didn’t give Moctar the chocolate macadamicas because I’m afraid Moctar who bites his fingers when you ate the chocolate! Everyone laughed, including Moctar, but I felt something is wrong. I said quickly that Moctar won’t feel it’s particularly funny. Because I felt it may cause racial discrimination although Moctar felt it’s really funny, I felt sorry for him. I’m familiar with him and I respect black, of course, but I should be cautious about the joke of it :P

Having a horse

I’m as a TA in English writing class. Sometimes I felt it’s really a nice job although it takes me a lot of time to mark the HWs. Today, I start to give marks of students’ HW which is related to horse feeding... I saw "There are (many) things you need to know before having a horse." Well, "having" sometimes means to eat a meal!! Thus, I felt surprised that he wants to have a horse. Wow, what a great appetite.@@

Surfing on ocean

Without accompanying with my lab mates in that I joined tutorial on 4/1, I went to Waikiki beach alone while my single lens camera and passport on hand. It is very dangerous that I went to swimming and left my belongings alone. Originally, I thought I just lay my backs on beach and don’t nothing. But I found there are surfing course I can take by passing 35 USD. Even though it’s not cheap, compared with my belongings were stolen, it is quite cheap option. I think I’m lucky to find out a stand provide a surfing lesson when most of stands are going to be closed around 16:30. When I asked this stand, they told me I should take it tomorrow while I have to present on 4/2. It seems I didn’t have chance but asking them to take care of my stuffs and payed tips for thanking them to keep it. After I changed my swimming suit, I was preparing to swim and they told me do you want to take a lesson? Wow, it is really surprised I can learn surf! I agreed cheerfully.

My coach is Mr. Huang who is the Hawaiian Chinese. Besides, I have two "classmates," Susan and Betty. We learn the procedures of surfing on the beach. First, you lie on board and paddle the wave. Supposed you are far away enough from beach (the wave is definitely bigger than the wave near beach.), you catch the rear of board and kneel down like the following figure:

Haha, I think the above figure presents the action perfectly! Then, you stretch your left leg on board and then try to stand up. Of course, you should cured your leg, so you can surf with waves. It sounds easy but it is difficult to make it. I mean to stand up! As soon as I try to stand up, it takes no second I fall into ocean. No worry that the depth of the sea, but you have to spend more strength you climb up to the board. It consumes you energies as well as paddles the waves away from beach. You know, to surf with waves cpsts less than 10 seconds; however, you spend 3 minutes to go back~ So the procedures are repeated again and again. Although the course is lasted only for one hour, I felt I’m totally exhausted after 20 minutes. My arms were sored and painful.
I think I need a rest, so that I was floating on ocean and seeing beautiful scenery from this angle. My coach called me far away "Peter~~ come  back~~" I replied "Yeah, I will ~~" I did my best to be back. My energies lost quickly when I went back. Thus, for the last two times I surf, Mr. Huang "drag" me back. I’m as if a small boat and he drags me toward destination! He just used his leg to catch my board and I do nothing (I have no energy at all) but lying on board. Haha, I’m heartily grateful for his efforts for doing that twice. For my last time to do that, I decide not too greedy. I mean I won’t stand up completely which catches the board and stand half attitude! Yap, I succeed and enjoy the speed pushed by waves! Haha, it is really enjoyable at that time.^^
After the course, my classmates asked "Whether you surf successfully?"
"Nope, but I saw both of you can surf well" I offered. Thus, I felt it is shame I can’t do better than girls. Of course, it is relief that to know they surfed before~ Haha, we took pics after the lesson. Even though I was tired to death I vomited when I "landed" on beach, I did my best to smile. You can see the people below :  )

After I went back to hotel after 22:30, I told my friends and lab mates about my schedule of suring. They were admired it and one said "You are the son of beech!" So they must be regret they didn’t surf on ocean. Until I told it is really exhausted to surf, they breath a sign of relief about it^^

We celebrated Smile’s birthday in Hawaii

Neither she is the YZU nor the NCKU student. Instead she works in a pharmacy who went to Hawaii with us. The day on 31th March is her birthday. So when we had had breakfast, Chun-Hao asked why don’t we give her a surprise today. I responded cheerfully and said "We YZU students are excellent in making surprises for birthday people!"
Consequently, as Angel introduced the trip schedule and explain the background of it in bus, I whispered a plan to others. Angel noticed and said "Hey, Peter! What do you do in a secret way?" I declared it publicly by requesting the microphone on her hand.
Huh, because it comes earlier than my expectation, we didn’t have enough time to work out excellent plans. So we sang birthday song to her together. I was in charged the microphone and gave a hint to sing the song through "One~, two~, three~."

It took no seconds that we burst out of laughs! Haha, we didn’t have any unspoken consensus. Angel helps me said "It is America, so you should sing it in English." So it’s really funny as a starting of giving her a surprise.

There are something special after the song and some NCKU students say something good for her. Just see the video and you will know.

We saw a show at Polynessian Cultural Center. Haha, although it’s Cultural Center, it’s not for academic purpose; instead, this cultural center performs 8 folks of culture belonged to different countries.... Just go to see them and enjoy it.

Romantic cruise

We spent 68 USD by this cruise which circles the Oahu island. Passengers can have a supper, to see the sunset, and to enjoy the competitions among different groups.

The tour guider of our group is "Biggie" whose shape is accordance to her name! Each group needs to make noise as loud as we can. It is just a beginning and we won the competition than other three groups.

No good and add more efforts!

I took a simulation of IELTS exam today, which costs me one day of it. After I evaluate my scores, the listening, reading, and speaking are improved. It sounds optimistic but the best I have is 6.0 in average. I get to work hard more because it remains under my expectations.

Compared my IELTS scores, there is a bigger problem I currently have now. After I replied the letters from advisor and Prof. Mani about our two papers are rejected by IJPE and IJAMT in recent days, it makes me consider how to do better when we submit a paper. I think I know it’s difficult that one paper is accepted nowadays. Haha, although it’s not so terrible, I bet there is no comprise in doing research. Add oil.

Tutorials of 2007 IEEE Symposium Series in Computational Intelligence in Hawaii

Some academic achievements were done during my stay in Hawaii. Huh, I shall show how hard working I’m, or others will said I spend the money payed by their taxes! (Although it’s undeniable.)
IEEE CISched 2007 is part of the 2007 IEEE Symposium Series in Computational Intelligence, it means there are 12 conferences held in the same time at the same place (Hilton Hawaiian Village). In my opinion of this multi-conference, it servers a variety of research topics and we can access all symposia through only one registration. It sounds quite nice, doesn’t it? A better factor is they provided several tutorials gave by some masters. I felt you water mouse that is running now.

I joined the tutorial almost all day long on 4/1 while my lab mates and friends went to Waikkiki beach to enjoy sunshine and water activities. There are two tutorials which attract my attention. One is Multi-Objective lectured by Dr. Piero and the other is Dr. Coello which gave the speech of MO algorithms. Originally, the first tutorial is supposed to be introduced by Dr. Jin; however, when I went to there, Dr. Piero came in and it made me felt surprised. I think I may run into the wrong ballroom! However, he told us Dr. Jin was stuck in San Fransisco because there is no seat available for him. Dr. Piero further said Dr. Jin goes to the conference on 4/2; so I can’t see him in this conference. huhu, I want to greet Dr. Jin since he will visit our school in May. So I felt it’s really pity about that. (But I met Dr. Jin on 4/2 night! I’m very excited to see him. I explain it latter.)

Well, since Dr. Jin can’t present the Multi-Criteria on time, Dr. Piero applied his research topic in MO problems and corresponding approaches which is from easy to difficult ones. He convinced the trend of research topic will move from easy to difficult ones soon. Haha, maybe the easier topics are solved well now. Poor you and poor me. From his speech, this part is most useful from his tutorial. In addition, he also discussed how to construct a surface by Fuzzy algorithm. It means when we obtain a possible consequence from this surface, we are able to reduce the computational efforts. There is no doubt that we can use it in continuous problem. However, I think it is not applicable in combinatorial problem. So I raised my hand to ask him this question.

When he saw me I raised my hand, he returned back a mouse to me quickly because I helped him to borrow a mouse for him. Haha, I told him I raised my hand is not only to get the mouse back but also have one question. He said "Of course" and I heard some people laughed. Hmmm, according to his reply, I evaluate this method that may not be ok in combinatorial problem. But it is a good start to ask a question without feeling stressful.

After the session of Dr. Piero, I participated in the tutorial of Dr. Coello. Wow, there are so many people crowded in the ballroom! I seat at the 2nd row so that I can see him clearly. (Maybe my shortsightedness is too server.) He mentioned so many MO algorithms in the same time. Besides, he also had such works in these algorithms. For example, he had proposed a microGA in solving the multi-objective problem that competes with some benchmark algorithms such as NSGA II and SPEA 2. He joked reviewers or researchers don’t like his idea. Thus, there are few people who developed microGA. I shall know even for a well-known master, it is still hard to attract others attentions.

Before I joined his tutorial, I knew I should ask him a question since he reviewed so many papers in MO area. It’s what is the "3rd generation" MO algorithms nowadays. Haha, because he is so considerate of his speech, he told us there is no such definition now. Thus, it means after year 2001 to 2002, the MO algorithms are not improved anymore! Hmmm, of course, maybe there is no such trend he discovered as well. However, he said his student fall in love with Particle Swarm Intelligence. Consequently, it stimuated me to request his opinion about which method is the best among all the algorithms. I’m surprised that he treats the Tabu search is the best and GA goes to the 2nd place. I thought ACO may go to the 1st place... But anyway, it reminds me what should I do the comparisons in experimental results ^^Y

The day I listened the tutorial that was on 4/1. Yeah, it’s the foolish day but the descriptions above are true. Huh, so I work hard very much in joinning the conference without wasting your taxes. I will post my two presentations and my trip experience soon.

Shall go back to orignal track

It is no doubt that I should go back to my regular step soon. When I read a paper on Thursday, I felt rather sleepy. Huh, maybe I will say it’s because of not enough sleep. When I took a shower, one thing suddenly came to my mind, which is my HW of stochastic process! It makes me notice the reality of my current situation now despite I’m reluctant to work. (Crying)

I tackled with the packing belongings, to finish the half-done job of TA in HW marking, to submit one report, and to deal with the fundings of our lab within 4 hours! Huhu, it’s the time to be relaxed in Hawaii. See ya.

Egypt

Egypt is sort of a country that we must visit in our life. Although I get used to take the advantage of joining international conference and to do sightseeing "simultaneously," Egypt is too expensive to me. I estimated I have to cover at least $20000 and it is not flexible that to participate in conference and visit pyramid~ I think the time I go to Egypt, I’m supposed to be a "full-time" tourist rather than has another business to do. Hah, that is why I don’t want to join the C&IE 2007 which was invited by Iris.

There is a big news on 2/24, which shows Miss. Sun got robbed in Egypt. At that time, I thought Egypt is a terrible place for tourist! However, when I read the response of the Egypt travel agency, it sustains my confidence of Egypt. I felt I love Egypt more now.

Vincent is humerous

Vincent’s class is after Debbie in IELTS course C, who should be Germany who has no sense of humor. Huh, the condition was changed yesterday. When we did the speaking test, there was one question about what are the stuffs people collect. One guy said he collects stamps... Vincent illustrated some interesting collections by others (Maybe it’s his own, I don’t know.) I told him I have a female lowerclassmate who said "She collects Boy Friends on her MSN Messenger title." Vincent asked me "Whether you were part of her collections?" Hahaha.

Running with scissors: Memoir

It is the novel I just picked up since lastweek on Friday. Yeah, I’m right because when I went back to see grandparents in theweekend, and I should by train and by plane this week, I have a plenty of freetime and to read novel will keep me from feeling bored.^^

I borrowed 3 novels from school library,and the “Running with scissors” is not expected from my original borrow list. However, when Idropped by the fiction shelves, I suddenly find this one suggested by my IELTSteacher, Colin. So I’m cheerfully to borrow it and I may discuss it with Colinalthough I can’t understand the writer’s language well :p 

It is a good change for me to borrowfictions from school library. I have 5 novels which were bought frombookstore, including Fried Green Tomatoes, Da Vin Chi Code, the Charlotte’s Web, A Walkto Remember, and Possession. They are all brand new and it shouldcost me some money to buy them. Besides, I may run a risk that I don’t readthem for a while. (Possession is a good example. Huhu, I find the font size istoo small which is no good for reading.) The other reason is since schoollibrary provides these novels, why should I buy them? Especially some of them arevery new! Huh, the running with scissors is an all-new one novel and hasn’tused by anyone and the feeling is like that you buy this new novel. So I decideto borrow novels from school rather than I buy them by myself.

This novel “Running with scissors” is a true life of the author, which is screaming funny! This fiction was directed in amotion picture . I found I could borrow it from library too! Hahaha, althoughI’m the 6^th people who can borrow it after 18 days, I should finishthe novel by that time. (I finish almost 1/4 now.)

PS: If my review speed of papers were asfast as reading novels, it would be great! I have four papers on hand assignedby my advisor. He must worried I will be bored in Hawaii. ><

I’m a gallery geek

I accompanied with my upperclassmate Fliny and her BF to see the terracotta army together last Sunday at National Museum of Natural Science. Because this exhibition started since last year on 12/1, I’m afraid they had seen it. But because Fliny doesn’t like to see it, her BF likes to say thanks to me because it stimulated her to see it. ^^Y Of course, I had seen the terracotta army in Xi’an, I’m responsible to tell them what I saw to them. For example, as the time had had lunch, I shown them the ticket we used in Xi’an. Haha, compared to the feeling of seeing the terracotta army in Xi’an and at NMNS, the former one goes without saying is better, including the quality of ticket! However, the reason why blew me to NMNS is because of the green face terracotta! It is only shown once and won’t be demonstrated publicly forever! The last exhibition day of it is on 3/31~ There are some days for u to see that. CC, there is the other exhibition is closed soon on 3/25, which is the Grand View!
   

In the today’s afternoon by catching a small break, I went to see Grand View which is my 4th visiting. Since I had visited NPM for many times, I can recognize the way to there when my eyes are covered with something. I guess I’m a gallery geek now. Besides, I bought a big painting of            Travelers Among Mountains and Streams (Fan K’uan). As soon as I arrived at dorm, I hung it on the wall now^^ Therefore I can see this painting easily although this painting won’t be shown until three years latter.

A walk to remember --- A novel touches your heart (I)

Although this year is pig year, I work hard to be a human-being. Hmmm, I should do more exercise from tomorrow... hahaha
Well, except I should keep in shape (the day to go to Hawaii is approaching), I sometimes read novel when I’m free, especially the time to take IELTS course in TPE city. I found my reading speed is better and better now, this novel "A walk to remember" was finished last week and I spent 3 weeks to accomplish it. I’m going to pick up a new novel or I will feel bored in the train from this week

The main characters are Landon an Jamie. The Landon is not the Robert Landon in Da Vinchi code. But if it was, it would be a lot of fun I think. Huh, to go back to original track : - ) Landon rewinds his life when he was 17 years old. When you read the novel, you smile first, and then cry second --- it is warned by Landon. Landon sometimes teased at Jamie’s back frequently, especially when he hung out with his friends. For example, he said Jamie is weird because she always bring a bible on her hand. The reasonable consequence is she is the daughter of a minister. Moreover, he didn’t like Jamie is too optimistic. This condition is changed until a event is carried out.

One day, there is one home party whose rule is that everyone should take his female partner to this party. If not, he has to clean house after the party. Since he didn’t wanna clean it ... which is a minor reason, and the primary one is he must be laughed at by others. So Landon considered who he can invite. Of course, Jamie is on the list but no longer exist as thinking of it. However, again and again, he found he has no choice and the other guy may ask for it; Jamie has no reason to reject the guy’s invitation. Therefore, after a couple of days thinking, he made his decision that to invite Jamie as his partner... The story thus begins.

Well, it is interesting to know how do they fall in love, which goes so naturally. Both of them unveil the truth that he/she is not the people he/she thought before. London finally knew the reason why Jamie always took bible on her hand when he walked her home. She said her mother died while giving her birth. Besides, she caught this bible on her hand. So Jamie wants to keep it and pretended her mother is part of her! When Landon heard it, he definitely shocked and he felt extremely guilty owing to his behaviors before...

On Christmas day with Jamie at orphanage, Landon gave her a Christmas gift which is a beautiful sweater. Jamie promised she wears it when she sees him next time. Jamie also prepared something for him as well. I guess if Landon doesn’t give her a gift, she may not give him this one as a feedback. Haha, just kidding. Hope it doesn’t break this romantic feeling. Well, before Landon opened the gift, he knew what it’s inside! He said he can’t afford to receive this gift breathlessly. Yeah, after he unwrapped it slowly while his hands trembled, the gift is her bible which is always on Jamie’s hand! He turned away and can’t say anything. The image of the time with Jamie came flooding into his mind, such as the homecoming party she done for him, a play, the days to walk her home, and collected jars and pennies for orphans.

Have a long time to enjoy Starbucks coffee, but it is my first time to have it for free! In the morning, I called Rafael and said "Do you like to have a cup of coffee of Starbucks for free?" He responsed "Wait 2 minutes for me!" So we went to the nearest Starbucks at Neil-Li Carrefoure. I told Rafael we must meet some friends there. My sixth sense is true because Iris was there who just picked up a free coffee! She told us the time in the queue is for 40 min and we may spent about 1 hour because the number of people in the queue is longer. Hmmm, I guess the free coffee activity of Starbacks decreases the Taiwan economic growth since there are so many people are out of their working position.

The queue length is too long and the time was 11:10 already, we decided not to stay at this place. Instead, we went to the other one at Geant. The queue length was still long, but it was not longer than at Carrefoure. Or we must gave up and went away. Besides, it’s not boring because both of us can talk to each other. In addition, when we gradually moved further, our moon is more and more excited and finally I got one free coffee of Starbucks after 25 mins!

Starbucks served black coffee which is too strong for me, so it needs milk and sugar to enhance the taste. When I mixed them into together, Rafa said "Look, there is a big dog near here!" I replied I thought it’s a carpet. Haha, when we starred at this dog, the female owner smiled to us and she waved her hand to let us come. This dog is named Russy which is "only" 70 pounds.
In the beginning of the conversation, Rafa and the lady talked about their feeding dog experience while I did nothing but listened it. However, when she told us she lived in NY for 9 years, it was the time three of us started to talk. She said she saw a big brown mushroom on 9/11 and she felt horrible. However, she thinks NY is the best city she ever lived. For example, when Rafael said his experience of having a cup of coffee at 5th Ave., the woman said there is a best cake in the world. I asked whether it is the Cheese Factory? She said it’s too commercial >< The answer is an Italian restaurant at 11 Ave. and number 1. I was getting excited to talk with her experience in NY. Haha, but there is one thing that is not the answer I need. I asked what is the best airline for me to reach NY in the minimum flight time. She said it is not the matter of airline, it is the matter of the class you take. She said she always by the business class! Opps, it is definitely out of the consideration. It is like an answer that there is a minister who asked an emperor "What does people can eat because they don’t have rice to eat?" The emperor said "They can eat meat!" The answer is sort of the same style.

It is indeed an unexpected coffee break with this lady who comes from NY. Rafael and I regret we didn’t bring our digital camera but phone camera to take photos of the big dog and the lady. If we are lucky, though, we can see each other again in this starbucks.

After I came back to lab in the afternoon, Penny said he forgot to get a free coffee in the afternoon at 16:00. I calmed him down by telling him the truth of the queuing time. He must felt better that didn’t pick up the free coffee. But I shall get a free one at Starbucks again. Forest Gum must said "You never know what the flavor of the coffee is until you taste it!"

The schedule of Yankees

When I had had dinner with Yi-Shuan, Jacob, and Rafael, they gave me many suggestions in NY! But there is one thing left which is to see the ball game of NY Yankees and to cheer for C. M. Wang if he pitches!!! Because there is one game on 6/18 that NYY to NYM. It goes without saying it’s a big show. Besides, there is a game on 6/17. Since there is no game after 6/18 for NYY, I’m wondering whether I go to NY earlier?! The ball game schedule is shown as follows (copied from UDN News):

A speech of Prof. David Harold Gustafson

Although I didn’t hear his name before, he must be a well-known research in one field. Yeah, indeed, after I attend his speech at school, he is excellent in medical and addicted to drug. His research definitely is interesting; first, it is for human-beings directly. Most important of all, human-beings means his mom and daughter while he did the research of cancer in the bones and "How to be a good father system." Her mom got a bone cancer and he joked he is not a good father so that he build a system to guide him to be a good father.

Compared his own and mine, my own one is just like a ivory tower which can’t contribute any effort to the world immediately. Haha, so it is the place I admire him very much. Of course, he got two centers in two different kind of purposes and he can use the money depended on his will. Wow, so it goes without saying that the MIS department chairman said "If you guys become well-off in the future, don’t forget to donate money and to be within-named this money under his name."

After his speech, I think I didn’t have any courage to ask him a question; however, if I asked him a question, I would ask do you have develop a system which is "How to be a goooood Boy/Girl friend system?" Ahaha, because he should be a good boy friend so that he may not build this one. Then, to ask him to teach us how to do it.

Lantern Festival 2007 in TPE city

On Sunday night (3/4) Sujan, Vecker, Om, and I went to see the Lantern festival together. Surprisingly I met Iris and her friend at MRT station unexpectedly, who also towarded C.K.S. memorial hall. I joked the group will become larger on the way to there!

This year is indeed special at C.K.S. Memorial Hall. The primary reason is the name of this place that may be changed, the wall will be tortured down, and the bronze of C.K.S is going to be removed. In other words, this place enters historical event in the future. I saw many people like to preserve this moment. Haha, C.K.S. should say thanks to DPP because he becomes hot today after a long long time.

To be teacher Chen today

I put it on my MSN messenger status so that many of my friends to call me "Teacher Chen" in the beginning of the talking. ^^
They may inspire me or warn I should not teach badly:P Luckily, I felt I speak very well because I delivered the main ideas of this class with many examples. Without these examples, they can’t understand the Object-Oriented Analysis!

It seems nice that I may can handle this course well. However, there is one problem that I can’t be teacher Chen anymore. Don’t panic, it is not my problem. There is only 10 students registered this class while the minimum requirement for each class that is 15. So my last word for them is "Hope I can see you all next week on Friday!" Haha, they gave me a big smile and say "thanks teacher" cheerfully.

I felt my heart is struggled now. If this class is opened successfully, I can’t join the wedding ceremony of my female elder cousin in US. So the condition is no matter the class that is opened or not, I’m lovely to accept the result.

After the class, I like to be relaxed. I saw the trout quintet posted on Hogi’s blog. I report it to here and I like to say thanks Hogi who is always post many interesting stuff on his blog.

Too excited this week

I will be the teacher Chen this week on Friday night!
My mind is not well-prepared now:P Add oil teacher Chen. You can do it.
However, there are only eight students who register this class. I need 7 more students, or it can’t be opened successfully.

Of course, if the course can be held, I think I can’t go to America to join the wedding ceremony of my female elder cousin.

Well, the real reason of posting this article here is because I see the schedule of the CISched 2007 in Hawaii, we are the first one to do presentation! Opps, according to my experience, everyone should stay at the conference in the beginning! And I have no time to see others presentation and I go first. Hurrah, too excited.

外國人祭墓時，只是供一束鮮花，而中國人
卻擺上大魚大肉和水果等食物....

外國人嘲諷地問：
「你們準備這麼多東西，墳墓裡的人什麼時候會出來吃呢？」
中國人澹然地答：
「等你們的人....
從墳墓爬出來賞花時，我們的人就會出來吃東西了...」

Beautiful Kaohsiung

I took some photos of Kaohsiung, especially the night view of urban spotlight and seashore view on 2/16 night. I favor the light reflected on sea which is gorgeous. Besides, through the single eye camera, the urban spotlight puts you in the heaven. One drawback things is there are numerous mosquitoes. Just keep moving while taking pictures.   
     Today, we held a farewell party for Michael and Jasmine who went back to Philadelphia in the afternoon. We visit a nice restaurant near harbor, which has elegant atmosphere inside. Hurrah, I got the other good place that can introduce it to my friend though I rarely stay in Kaohsiung now.

My uncle said we should preserve a little bit of room of our stomach because we will have some big ice after the meal. There are 8 ppl having it together, which is somewhat more since the bowl is indeed giant! Doesn’t it?

The engaged ceremony of Jassmine

It’s cool that to hold engage ceremony in Chinese New Year! Haha, every family member should be back and it’s not necessary to print invitation cards. There is only one drawback is we get one extra big meal and everyone becomes a animal of the year, pig! In the morning, we held a simple ceremony by wearing rings. Of course, because Michael had proposed and Jassmine wore it already, they took off the rings and used it in this ceremony. Before long, it’s done after 5 mins. Haha, so it is quite simple, doesn’t it? I guess there might be a lot of traditional procedures, but they are discarded. I think maybe these traditional customs should be disappeared in the future. Maybe simpler is better like my research philosophy. After wearing rings, we started to take group pics. Michael and Jasmine to sit on chair with different kinds of combinations of group picture. I were them, my mouth should be very sore. It is not the end after we took group pictures. In US, a new couple will design a small gift for their participants. Jass’s mom suggested to use magnetics by their pictures. So I took the responsibility to help them to take photos and they select 6 from them. Hmmm, I select some of them which might be a good work. I admire them who are still smile cheerfully^^  
You can see my uncle who was dressed up and wore a paper-made bowknot. Hahaha.In the beginning of the big meal, Jass’s father introduced who is Michael. You can see he is stand up and how himself to everyone. Then, Ted is asked to say sth for blessing the new couple in English. I thought I just do the photographer is enough. However, I’m invited to say something and I didn’t prepare for anything. In the beginning, I deliver my blessing for them and thinking what I can said in English~ One idea flashes into my mind; I think I can say how does Michael propose! Thus, I asked whether everyone would like to know about it? Everyone gave me a positive feedback so that I represent it to all the family members. Because I knew it clearly, I waste no time to tell them the romantic procedure of what Michael did. Haha, I hope I didn’t spent too many time because I believe everyone who is hungry like me. Yes, I’m right~ As soon as some elder people to express their blessings, the meals were served! I only took two pictures of dishes, you can image how hungry I’m.
